Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite filler agent to help restore facial volume loss in the face.  Radiesse is a synthetic material that is naturally compatible with the body therefore no pre-testing is required.   It is best used to help restore facial volume in and around the chin, cheeks and nasolabial folds.  Due to the viscosity of the product, it is not used in the lips or eye area.  When used in the appropriate areas such as the chin, cheeks and nasolabial folds, Radiesse appears soft and smooth. 

Radiesse is made of very tiny calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres that create a scaffold through which your body’s own collagen grows.  Studies show Radiesse will last 6-12 months, although some patients’ treatments can last longer.
